2011 merger USL 1 and USL 2 to USL Pro as Division 3, USL I-League futsal league starts. Antigua Barracuda FC went to the American Division and Los Angeles Blues to the National Division, creating two groups of six teams. Three pools were created, the American, National and International Division, with the International teams featuring three teams from Puerto Rico, one from Antigua and Barbuda and one from Los Angeles, which were intended to serve the Caribbean. The league is organized by the United Soccer Leagues (USL) and is a merger of the former USL First Division and USL Second Division. Previously, the USL First Division and USL Second Division also fell under the USL. The champion of the Second Division can be promoted to the First Division, but must meet additional requirements.
